Yesterday's most-viewed Wikipedia articles, in English, French, German or Spanish. Two display modes are available in the settings below. Thumbnail shows a dithered image of the top article alongside the ranking, plus a summary band with cumulative views and the day's sharpest riser. Trends drops the image and shows twelve articles instead, each with its change versus the previous day and a seven-day bar sparkline. Data comes from the official Wikimedia Pageviews API and refreshes daily. All labels follow the language you pick.
See yesterday's most-viewed Wikipedia articles right on your TRMNL. This plugin ranks the top trending pages by daily pageviews, with a language selector (English, French, German, or Spanish) set via a plugin custom field. Two display modes are available: a thumbnail view highlighting the #1 article with its image when one exists, or a trends view showing each article's rank change versus the previous day alongside a 7-day sparkline. Data and images are fetched by a scheduled GitHub Actions workflow and served as static JSON via raw.githubusercontent.com — no server, no API key, no hosting cost. Templates follow the TRMNL Framework's responsive components for both OG and X screen sizes. A fun way to keep track of what the internet is reading.
