Display the oil prices every 30 minutes (Brent Crude Oil Last Day Financial Futures)

Track crude oil prices directly on your TRMNL e-ink display. This plugin shows live WTI (CL=F) and Brent (BZ=F) futures prices, sourced from Yahoo Finance, with daily, weekly, and monthly change, the 52-week range, and the Brent–WTI spread. A 30-session chart with sparkline visualizes the recent trend at a glance. The screen is generated by a scheduled job that fetches the data, precomputes all chart geometry in Node, and commits a static data.json served over GitHub Pages — no server, no API key, no hosting cost. The daily change is calculated against the previous close in the plugin's own series rather than Yahoo's raw field, avoiding the desync issue common with near-24h futures trading. Useful for traders, energy professionals, or anyone keeping an eye on oil markets.
