Tagesschau: Regional & Topic News displays a randomly selected German news article from tagesschau.de on your TRMNL. Choose one or more German federal states and optionally narrow the selection by topic. Available topics include domestic news, international news, business, sports, investigative reporting, and science. This makes it useful for following regional reporting or a particular area of interest. The screen presents one matching story with its headline, article image, and text, with the amount of visible content depending on the layout. Stories remain in German. No account or API key is required. The plugin requests news at your chosen TRMNL refresh interval; results depend on the articles available for your filters. Full screen, horizontal half, vertical half, and quadrant layouts let you include regional Tagesschau news in different dashboard arrangements.
