Vintage postcards from everywhere

Connections
Miss getting postcards in the mail? This recipe has you covered. A unique historical postcard from across the globe, each and every day -- and unlike your friends and family, it lets you choose where they come from.
The collection covers almost 18,000 real printed cards from public archives spanning 115 countries and the years 1860 to 1975. Each postcard arrives with whatever the catalogue knows: what it shows, where it‘s from, and when it was sent.
Sort by orientation, region or era -- or change nothing and take the whole world as it comes.
Install (don't Fork!) to receive future updates.
Cards from the University of Graz (GrazMuseum Ansichtskarten) are licensed CC BY-SA 3.0 AT and are used with thanks; browse the collection at gams.uni-graz.at. Everything else is public domain or CC0, from the Library of Congress, the Rijksmuseum and Digital Commonwealth.
