⚠️ Note: HubbyCal connects to one Google account, so the dropdowns only show calendars that account can see. To add a partner's calendar, have them share it with your connected account first.

IMPORTANT: Occasionally, a calendar dropdown may display an incorrect calendar name after saving. This is a known display issue and does not affect your actual saved selection. If you have already selected and saved a calendar, your choice remains correct even if the dropdown appears to show a different name. For the smoothest setup experience, we recommend using Google Chrome.

Optional extras you can turn on below: a Spotlight bar at the bottom of the screen for dinner plans (or anything else you'd like to highlight), weather and holiday info in the header, a countdown to a special date, and garbage/recycling day reminders. All of these are optional — leave any of them blank to keep that feature turned off.

The pill label shown next to the spotlighted item, e.g. "TODAY'S DINNER". Change this if you're using the Spotlight Calendar for something other than dinner.

Enter your city so the Header can show real-time temperature, conditions, and severe weather alerts (US only, powered by the National Weather Service). Also pick your country below to automatically show today's holiday, if any, using Google's public holiday calendars — no separate calendar setup needed.

Pulls today's holiday (if any) from Google's public holiday calendar for the selected country. No separate calendar setup needed.

Add a single countdown to a special date — a vacation, birthday, anniversary, anything worth counting down to. It shows just below the date in the Header. On the day itself, it switches to a special 'IS TODAY!' message instead of counting down further. Leave the title blank to turn this feature off entirely.

e.g. "Puerto Vallarta Vacation". Leave blank to hide the countdown entirely.

Select which day(s) of the week garbage and recycling pickup happen. A pill showing 'Garbage Day,' 'Recycling Day,' or 'Garbage & Recycling Day' will automatically appear on the far right of the Work Calendar Strip whenever today matches one of your selected days.
