Displays live NYC Subway stringline diagrams from pvibien.com. Stringlines are time-and-distance charts that show recent train movement between stations. Choose a route, direction, end date, end time, number of hours, overlay mode, and color mode. The image is resized to fit on TRMNL.
Available settings
Route
Select the NYC Subway route to display.
Example: 7 Train
Direction
Select the train direction.
Example: Northbound
End Date
Choose how many days back the chart should end. Use Today for the latest available stringline.
Example: Today
End Time
Choose how far back from the selected end date/time the chart should end. Each step is 30 minutes.
Example: Now
Number of Hours
Number of hours of train movement to show. Shorter ranges are easier to read on TRMNL.
Example: 2 hours
Overlay Mode
Choose which additional operating metric to display on the stringline.
Example: No Overlay
Color Mode
Choose whether the source image should use route colors or grayscale. Grayscale usually works best on TRMNL.
