German Weather Service (DWD)
Official forecast, no API key

Connections
Weather for anywhere in Germany from the Deutscher Wetterdienst
(DWD), the national meteorological service: an hourly timeline, plus an outlook
of up to five days. Missing data reads as a dash, never a zero.
Setup. Search for your town in the Location field, or paste a
comma-separated latitude and longitude, then save the form once. The forecast
is kept on your account's own timezone, so there is nothing else to set. No API
key and no server — TRMNL polls
Bright Sky hourly and builds the card
in-platform.
Source. The forecast is DWD's, taken through Bright Sky, an
open JSON API over DWD Open Data. DWD's
terms of use govern the data. Bright Sky is independently operated and not
endorsed by DWD, so this recipe cannot promise its availability.
No weather warnings. DWD asks that its attribution be removed
from warnings unless they are delivered complete and without delay, which an
hourly refresh cannot promise. Forecast only.
Screens. All four layouts are built for TRMNL OG and for
TRMNL X in both landscape and portrait. TRMNL X landscape carries a longer
hourly timeline than the other two; portrait turns the outlook into a
day-per-row list.
