About This Plugin

Shows recent earthquake data from USGS. If you discover any issues please open an issue on GitHub or email me (Address on my website below).

I strongly recommend changing the color palette to "4 Greys (2-bit)" for this plugin! It takes slightly longer to draw the screen but makes the map a lot more readable! As of December, 2025 the plugin preview is the less readable default color palette.

Show additional earthquakes

Shows additional, recent earthquakes within your specific radius as square boxes. Does not affect the zoom of the map so they may not be visible. I'm not exactly sure what results get returned. This feature needs refinement but may still be of interest.

false true

Additional Map Padding

By default the map zooms in as much as it can on the most recent earthquakes. This is not particularly smart and might not look good but can be used to force the map to zoom out. Set to a positive number.
